The white Dodge pickup truck that fatal shooting suspect Christopher Dorner allegedly stole today in the Big Bear area belongs to Rick Heltebrake, the ranger at the popular Camp Tahquitz, which is operated by the Long Beach Boy Scout Council, a source said.

Sean Gray, who is connected with the camp, confirmed the truck belonged to Heltebrake and that the camp employee was OK, but could provide no other details.

Heltebrake answered a call from a reporter this afternoon, but said he could neither confirm nor deny reports about his involvement in the incident and then hung up.
