A couple tied up by Christopher Dorner in their condo just before his final shootout with sheriff's deputies last month are seeking the $1.2 million reward offered for Dorner's capture.


Karen and Jim Reynolds' claim competes with one already filed by a man carjacked by Dorner the same day. And it remains unclear how and when the government agencies and private donors who put up reward money will decide who -- if anyone -- gets it.

After the Reynoldses found ex-Los Angeles police officer Dorner in their Big Bear condo Feb. 12, 10 days into his murderous rampage, he tied them up and fled in their SUV.
