Law enforcement officers from Idaho and Washington joined up in Chino this morning to get the word out about the "AK-47 Bandit," who robbed a bank and shot a police officer in Chino last February.

Officers are also seeking help from the public with tips or other information that could lead to the capture of the AK-47 Bandit. A reward for information leading to his arrest and conviction has been increased to $100,000.

The robber is dubbed the "AK-47 Bandit" because of the weapon he used during the holdups.

"Even a seemingly insignificant tip could lead to the arrest of this suspect," Bill Lewis, head of FBI office in Los Angeles, said during a press conference at Chino Police Department.
