SIMI VALLEY, Calif. (KTLA) -- Resents in Ventura County are being warned after twelve more birds have tested positive for West Nile virus in Simi Valley.

The birds were collected in the last 2 1/2 weeks of August, according to the Ventura County Environmental Health Department.

The department plans to inspect all mosquito breeding sources near where the birds were collected, and it will treat the areas if necessary...
