BUENA PARK, Calif. (KTLA) -- A South Dakota couple who envisioned spending their honeymoon enjoying Orange County’s diversions -- the beach, baseball and a jousting tournament between knights in shining armor at Medieval Times -- apparently got more than they bargained for.

The couple have now filed a $10-million suit against the Buena Park dinner show theater, alleging that a mock sword fight left Dustin Wiseman partially blind when a shard of metal from a titanium sword flew into the newlywed's eye.

Wiseman, 37 and his wife, Melissa, 38, were sitting in the front row at the time, according to their lawsuit.

The couple alleges that the popular dinner theater failed to take proper precautions to protects its patrons, and ruined their April 2011 honeymoon.

The only thing they actually did was go to the beach, then go to Medieval Times and go to the hospital, said their attorney, Jason Fowler.
