LOS ANGELES (KTLA) -- A salmonella outbreak linked to Trader Joe's peanut butter has forced the maker of the product to recall 76 types of peanut butter and almond butter products.

New Mexico-based Sunland Inc. issued the recall for the Trader Joe's brand Creamy Salted Valencia Peanut Butter after the FDA and CDC linked the item to a strain of Salmonella that has sicked 29 people between June 11 and Sept. 2.

More than three-fourths of those who became ill were children under the age of 18. No deaths have been reported...
