Most people know David Arquette as a comedic actor, or at least the kinda guy who doesn't take things too seriously in life.
Films such as Scream, Never Been Kissed and Ready to Rumble helped establish Arquette as a lighthearted guy who just wanted to make us smile.
David, along with his sister (and fellow actor) Patricia Arquette are both credited as producers for the film, which is centered around the prison system in America.
Topics ranging from prison conditions, to weaning out bad eggs in law enforcement, and the absolute horrific realities faced by convicts are documented and brought to the public eye by such stars as Danny Trejo, Danny Glover, Ice T and Susan Sarandon.
To Arquette, the message is clear: the American prison system is broken, and it doesn't have to be.
One of the focuses is non-violent offenders. For example, certain states have up to 100,000 individuals incarcerated in Oregon for "minor" marijuana-related offenses.
Arquette joined Tim live in the studio to talk about "Survivor's Guide To Prison," being a family man, the passing of Comedy Store founder Mitzi Shore and the We Are One Benefit Concert at the Dorothy Chandler Pavilion on April 12, 2018.
