WELL...
This man might have had it a bit worse... He had to be rescued after literally falling into an abandoned well today.
It all happened sometime before 1:30 p.m. in Simi Valley, according to rescuers. The unidentified victim had fallen 20 feet into the well before he became stuck, leaving rescuers with the difficult task of freeing him without causing him to fall deeper into the long and narrow opening.
Firefighters pulled the man out of the well at about 2:20 p.m., using ropes they'd secured to the end of a firetruck ladder.
The man is safe, but the extent of his injuries are still unknown.
