Group Gathers Outside Home of L.A. County’s Public Health Director

US-HEALTH-VIRUS

Upset about the new COVID-19 restrictions? You are not alone! On Sunday, dozens of people protested outside of the home of Los Angeles County Public Health Director Barbara Ferrer. In front of her Echo Park home, the protesters chanted:

"Open L.A"
“No science. No data. No shutdown.”

The county’s new round of restrictions includes a ban on most gatherings, playground closures and stricter limits on retail businesses. The county’s latest Safer at Home order will be in effect until Dec. 20. That’s three weeks!

These new restrictions came right after the outdoor dining ban for most restaurants in the county. If that wasn't enough...we also have Gov. Gavin Newsom’s statewide curfews. Does COVID-19 become more dangerous between the hours of 10 p.m. and 5 a.m.? Apparently, some think so!
