POMONA (CNS) - A man killed in a hit-and-run crash in Pomona was homeless, authorities said today.
Nicasio Romero was 48 years old, according to the coroner's office.
Officers were called at 11:48 p.m. Friday to Mission Boulevard and La Mesa Street, where the victim now identified as Romero was suffering from serious injuries, according to the Pomona Police Department.
Paramedics worked on the victim, but Romero was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.
The suspect's vehicle make, model and color were not immediately known.
